Flash Cache Read Latency Alarm

The Flash Cache Read Latency alarm is raised when the time taken to read a single bock from flash cache exceeds a threshold. This may be caused by a low performance flash device.

Flash drives provide a lower latency and higher throughput than magnetic disks. High latency on a flash drive suggests the flash drive is not providing a performance advantage.
