Log Rreader - Group Entries

Use the Log Reader grouping feature to group like entries in a list together. You can use the grouping feature on the lists on the Full Log, DML/DDL, and Transactions pages.

To group statements

  1. Click Grouping on the Log Readertoolbar. The grouping icon and text stay highlighted.
  2. Click the heading for the column by which you want to group statements, and drag it to the area labeled Drag a column header here to group by that column.

    TIP: The arrow in the column name for the group indicates the sort order. To reverse the sort order, click the column name again.

  3. Continue to drag column headings to add subgroups.

    The grouped records display as follows:

Tips:

  • To remove a group or subgroup, drag the column name for the group or subgroup back to the column header row in the list.
  • To remove all groups and subgroups, click .
