On the navigation panel, under Dashboards, select Administration > Agents > Agent Properties.

Setting the collection rate

Go to the Collection Rate set of properties.

Enter the sample frequency in seconds in the Sample Frequency box. The sample frequency is the rate at which the bulk of the metrics get collected.

Select the Sample Frequency List (seconds) that you want to update.
CAUTION: Do not add or delete tables in the SiebelServer_Freq_List. Doing so may result in lost or corrupted data. Only existing tables should be modified.

Click Edit.

Click Save Changes.

Click Save.

Go to Setting the Siebel information properties to enter information about the SiebelServer instance.

Setting the Siebel information properties

Go to the Siebel Info set of properties.

Type the name of the Siebel gateway server in the Gateway Server Name box. The gateway server name is case-sensitive on Unix-based Siebel servers. If the gateway server is running on a port other than the default of 2320, enter the name of the Siebel gateway and the port number. For example, <Gateway Server>:<Port Number>.

Type the name of the Siebel enterprise server in the Enterprise Name box. The Enterprise Name is case-sensitive on UNIX®-based Siebel servers.

Type the name of the Siebel server in the Siebel Server box. The Siebel server name is case-sensitive on UNIX-based Siebel servers.

Type the full path to the directory where the Siebel Server Manager executable is located in the Siebel Server Manager Directory box. On Windows®, srvrmgr resides in SIEBEL_HOME\siebsrvr\bin, and on UNIX it is located in SIEBEL_HOME/bin.

Type the SQL*Net Alias (Oracle®) or the name (IBM® DB2 and SQL Server®) of the Siebel database in the Database Alias/Name box.

Click the Enable Debug Flag option button:

Click Save.

Go to Setting the SiebelServer log information properties to enter data relating to the Siebel server logs.
