Quest has tools and processes in place to identify, protect, detect, and remediate vulnerabilities and incidents when they occur, including external security partners. As part of our standard security operations, Quest does not use CrowdStrike in any of our operations. We are reviewing our third parties, and so far, there is minimal affect. Profiling Options

Use this page of the Options dialog to specify default values to use with the Data Profiling tool. The settings you specify here apply to new Data Profiling sessions. You can override these settings at the session level. See Profiling Options for more information about session-level data profiling options.

To specify Profiling options

  1. Select Tools | Options | Environment | Profiling.
  2. Specify options to use in new Data Profiling sessions. Review the following for additional information:

    • Basic Analysis—Always selected.
    • Distinct Analysis—Processes distinct, duplicates, non-unique, unique, and repeated rows.
    • Pattern and String Analysis—Pattern analysis of string values.
    • Domain Analysis—Identifies a matching domain and domain patterns.
    • Enable Drill-Down of Actual Values—Select this option to display the sampled data.

      • If this option is not selected, the All Data and Selected tabs do not display.
      • Deselect this option to reduce the file size of the Toad Profiling Report.

Tips:

  • To navigate to the directory where option settings are stored, click the Application Data Directory link in the About dialog (Help | About).

  • To search for a partial or complete option name or value, use the Search field at the bottom of each Options page. See About Options for more information.
