Dates Display in the Wrong Format

Issue

Dates displays incorrectly (for example, as mm/dd/yyyy instead of dd/mm/yyyy) throughout ControlPoint.

Probable Reason

ControlPoint uses a browser setting, rather than a server setting, to determine the correct date format to use, and it is based on the language preference that you have selected.

Resolution

1Open the Internet Properties dialog using one of the following options:

§From the Internet Explorer Menu Bar, choose Tools > Internet Options.

OR

§From the Windows Control Panel, choose Internet Options.

2On the General tab, click [Languages] to display the Language Preference page.

3Make sure the language associated with the date format that you want to use (for example, English United Kingdom or English United States):

§has been added, and

§appears at the top of the list.

4Close the dialog and refresh the browser.
