Cause
The SecureCopy.ssd file has become corrupted.

Resolution
Open the Secure Copy installation folder. Typically, this is %Program Files%\ScriptLogic Corporation\Secure Copy x. (In version 6.0.3 and higher the location is %Program Files%\Quest Software\Secure Copy x.)
Locate the File SecureCopy.ssd and rename the file to SecureCopy.old.
Reopen Secure Copy console. The application is now functional, but the existing jobs are no longer shown. Recreate the jobs manually. The details of the previous job can be found by opening “SecureCopy.old” using NotePad. The file is written in XML markup language and the source and target paths are human readable.
