One way to validate would be to use the Summary page to get the number of files processed and check the source to see if the total number of files have increased as per the number in SC (provided you know the file count on the source prior to running the copy operation.
You can also use the different Reports (such as Analysis and Summary reports) as a means to determine what was copied.
To view the Summary and report data:
- Click Logs and Reports in the bottom left of the console
- Expand your job name and select the date of the copy operation
- The Summary tab will provide information about the file count processed as well as the number (and size) of each file type
- The Reports tab will allow you to run the different reports available
Download and use the third party software Beyond Compare to compare the source and target data to confirm they are the same.
If the size of the files on the target are different than the files on the source, check to confirm that the source and target disks have the same hard disk sector size.
