Workaround #2:
If the machine you are attempting to protect is a VMware or Hyper-V virtual machine. You can use VMware/Hyper-V Agentless protection to protect the VM. It is not support by Quest Support but may work as temporary workaround until the OS is upgraded or machine is decommissioned.
Any changes in OS support will be covered in the Release Notes for each release. To review supported Operating Systems for a Rapid Recovery version, review the System Requirements Guide for the specific release. All Technical Documentation can be found on the Quest Support Portal.
