Description

During mailbox migration, task is generating an error: "Unexpected error on source mailbox <email>. The response received from the service didn't contain valid XML."
Cause

Source mailbox autodiscovery got resolved to the old version of on-premises Exchange
Resolution

Verify an autodiscovery response of <email> address that it's physically located in the Microsoft Exchange Online (O365) and not pointing to on-premises Exchange.
ODM does not support migrating on-premises Exchange mailboxes to the cloud, On Demand Migration Hybrid Exchange supports on-premises/cloud migration in both direction.
