This can pertain to several issues in vRanger and is a simple thing to try first.
Close the vRanger application and Shut down (Stop) the vRanger Services in any order.
***Note: Stopping the vRanger Services will kill any jobs running and might leave open snapshot on the VMs being backed up at the time. To avoid this you can cancel any jobs that are running to remove any open snapshots before restarting the Services.
Start the services in the following order:
Start the vRanger application.
