It is observed that the vRanger application crashed and the backup fails with "Task could not complete due to unexpected system shutdown."
In the Event Viewer under Application Event logs, following is revealed:
Application: Vizioncore.vRanger.exe
Framework Version: v4.0.30319
Description: The process was terminated due to an internal error in the .NET Runtime at IP 000007FEF0594C3C (000007FEF0500000) with exit code 80131506.

해결 방안
Stop the vRanger services
Uninstall .net 4.0 from the vRanger server
Reboot
Install .net 4.0
Repair vRanger software by running the .exe or through add remove programs in the control panel
