Repository contains more save points than what is shown in view within vRanger My Repositories.
Job may have been run manually therefore not allowing the retention policy to be implemented.
Please download the attached PowerShell script that can be used to synchronize your repository.
1. Download archive. It is recommended to stop the Quest vRanger services in services.msc to avoid ingesting data while the script runs.
2. Place it on any Windows machine with PowerShell ver. 2 or greater. The script is autonomous, BET is prepackaged. Thus there is no need to execute it from Ranger itself.
3. Extract files from the archive.
4. Launch PowerShell console as an administrator.
5. Allow script execution if necessary:
Set-ExecutionPolicy unrestricted
6. Browse to Bet Reposync folder.
7. Run ./Reposync03.4.ps1 following prompts and answering accordingly.
The repository is now updated with same savepoints as saved in vRanger. Old and new GlobalManifest files and log file of process are saved in the dump folder within BetReposync folder.
Non-official script! Provided on 'as-is' basis.
Tested against vRanger 6.1/7.x Script won't work for Ranger 5.3 or earlier version.
