It look like the issue may be caused by corrupt user files.
Please follow the below steps:
1) Close Toad Edge
2) Go to "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\".
3) Rename the Toad Edge folder to Toad Edge_OLD
4) Start Toad Edge
Note: By doing the steps above your user settings will be set to the default ones so you will lose the changes you have previously done.
