"Duplicate output alias" error when working with columns of the same name. -

When working with Query Builder and tables in the diagram, that have similarly named columns, if the columns (with the same names) are selected, Toad will error out with "Duplicate output alias<column name>".
Why can't Toad distinguish between the two?

This is only an issue in Base edition.

해결 방안
WORKAROUND:
Manually add alias in the diagram view before generating the query. If writing the query by hand in the editor, make sure to specify an alias.
Test to see if this is still an issue in Professional.

Please note, if working with cross connection queries, it is preferable to work with professional edition since there are limitions when working with the base edition. This situations is handled automatically, with the object qualified or alias generated, when working in Professional but not with Base.
