Toad Data Modeler times out when reverse engineering a large SQLServer2014 database

When there are over 30,000 tables in a SQL 2014 database, when you run the reverse engineering wizard, there is eventually a Timeout error. Toad Data Modeler also seems to be running statements that are intended for SQL 2012.
