FAPM-1035 | JMXAgent UI: The Connection Info Assistant dialog box cannot be edited or saved, if you entered wrong values in the Edit Connection Settings dialog box. |
The following is a list of issues known to exist at the time of this release.
Defect ID |
Known Issue |
JMX-435 | Oracle JDK 7 has been fully supported since 5.9.6 release, while the rest JDK 7 is still partially supported. |
JMX-433 | The JMX Agent fails to collect MBean data from WebSphere servers, when Admin Security is enabled. |
JMX-399 | Due to incompatibilities between IBM and Oracle Hotspot JVMs, the JMX Agent cannot monitor WebSphere 6.1. |
JMX-369 | When connecting to a JBoss server using Local Process discovery, errors may occur when collecting JSR77 statistics because these statistics require the jboss-management.jar file to be located in the JMX agent's classpath. Local Process discovery cannot determine that this .jar file is required. Workaround: The agent configuration must be updated manually after it has been created. |
JMX-211 | If multiple JMX agents are deployed to a single Agent Manager, and are connected to different application servers, the agents may fail when one of the application servers restarts. Workaround: Deploy only JMX agents for a single type of application server to a single Agent Manager instance. That is, do not deploy JMX agents that monitor WebLogic and WebSphere (for example) to the same Agent Manager. |
JMX-68 | When an MBean attribute has been collected as a "single value" and is then converted to be collected as a metric, Foglight logs an error message indicating that it could not convert the value persisted. This does not affect collection of the attribute as a metric. It indicates that the previous value that was stored as a property is not incorporated into the metric. |
JMX-9 |
