Oracle issue with exchange partition and clob columns (4352630)

A problem is coming to light with the EXCHANGE PARTITION option used by Live Reorg Online Switch.

A factor is if the table has CLOBs which are moved from out of row storage to in row storage.
Before the exchange the tables are ok, but once the exchange has taken place, Oracle is unable to return the table in bulk to a select statement.
Analyze table validate structure cascade says the table is ok.
Selecting individual rows is ok.
Export of the table fails.
Select * from the table fails.

The failure is that the Oracle Server process aborts with an ORA-07445 panic. This is reported by the client process as an ORA-03113 error, because the client has lost contact with its server process.

This issue has been duplicated outside of Space Manager using standard SQL commands, so this is an Oracle issue. At time of writing we do not yet have an Oracle bug reference number.

Steps are being taken to reproduce the problem in house and the customer has reported their findings to Oracle.
