Partition reorg fails with error: "Individual table partition or sub-partition with hidden column (4264605)

Areorg on a partitioned table ( e.g F03B11) fails with this message:

The following objects cannot not be reorged as Live reorg does not support them:

<table_name></table_name>Partition - (Individual table partition or sub-partition with hidden column)

The hidden columns are a result of the DESC indexes. They are supported when LiveReorg is used for the entire table at the table level. On the Select Partition Reorganization Method Screen the choice should be Drop and recreate entire partitioned object.

Space Manager does support tables with Hidden columns. The limitation is that Oracles Exchange Partition command cannot be used when a hidden column is in the table. This means that T-Lock reorgs must be used and the entire table must be reorganized.
