해결 방안
ollow these steps to configure QoreStor to use Scality ARTESCA as Cloud Tier target. Configuration in Scality ARTESCA:
Using Scality ARTESCA’s UI, create an account (access key and secret key). Use Data Management -> Accounts menu option.
Create a new bucket using Data Management -> Data Browser menu option. Give bucket name and pick a storage service location. Do not select Versioning and Object-lock unless you are planning to use it with a RDA or Object container in QoreStor.
Create S3 end-point using “Create Data Service” option in Data Management -> Data Services menu option.
Note: Refer to Scality ARTESCA documentation on using your own CA certificate. If you are using self-signed certificate please contact Quest Support for additional configuration information.
Configuration in QoreStor:
Login to QoreStor Web UI, navigate to Cloud Storage and click on Cloud Tiers option. Click on Add Cloud Tier button.
Cloud Tier configuration:
Set the Cloud Provider as “S3 Compatible”, enter a name for this Cloud Tier, enter bucket name that was created in Scality, Use custom option for Connection String and enter the connection details in this format:
Do not select “Enable Cloud Locking” unless you are planning to use this Cloud Tier with a RDA or Object container in QoreStor.
Set a Passphrase for the Cloud Tier encryption.
NOTE: With QoreStor 7.3, when adding Cloud Tier, the operation may require a retry (with same bucket name) to be successful. This would be addressed in next release of QoreStor.
Once Cloud Tier is created, enable Cloud Tier policy on the desired containers. Using Containers in the main menu of QoreStor UI, select the container you want to enable Cloud tiering, click on the three dots icon located at the top right corner of the container tile, select Enable Cloud Tiering Policy.
Enter policy settings like idle time and on-prem retention age. Do not select “Enable Cloud Locking” unless you are using this policy on a RDA or Object container. Click on Enable to complete the policy settings.
With the above QoreStor container is set to use Cloud Tier with Scality ARTESCA storage.
