If I upgrade from 7.0.4 to the latest version 7.0.5, will i still be able to review the past history? -

Upgrading from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5 will not affect your history.Please review the release notes for 7.0.5 to see if it will benefit you. Upgrading is not really necessary unless you have been advised to do so for addressing specific issues or you have a need for support for a SQL Server version that was not previously supported.
