How does On Demand Migration for Email (ODME) convert Gmail labels to categories in Outlook using the following option? -

The G Suite labels made it over to O365 as categories but they are not available in the master Category List because the category colors don't migrate over.This is expected, is a known limitation of the tool with G Suite. From the ODM User Guide:----Currently, when migrating to Office 365, Google Labels do not show up by default in the user's Categories list.To have migrated Google Labels appear in the Office 365 Categories list, in O365, open manage categories... from the categorize menu and select add new category. Then create a category that exactly matches a category that was applied to an O365 message during the migration. All messages marked with that category will take on the color applied (if any) and the category will remain on the user's list for future use.------- -
해결 방안
Using this option to migrate Gmail Labels into Outlook Categories, it copies the emails into this Inbox. Each email will have a category that corresponds to the label it had in Gmail.
Via OWA the email will have the category in the email, however it doesn't display it in the Manage categories.
In Outlook the Color Categories will display the Gmail label information from the email including the message (not in Master Category List) as the email category is based on the email.
NOTE: Category colors do not migrate over. See Solution 120015 for more information.
