Data migration performance degraded with import and linktracking services
설명
We have installed the import services and running the migration from the Lotus Notes DB to SharePoint 2013 with 17000 records. The data transition is very slow and hardly pushing the data in SharePoint site.
해결 방안
WORKAROUND:
In the Migrator for Notes to SharePoint Services Configuration site there is a feature called "Import Service - Shared Files Folder" which can improve performance. A shared folder can be configured that will be used when transferring data to the Import Service. Specify the paths that the server and the clients should use to access this folder. Note that clients may need to use a different path (a UNC path, for instance) to access this folder.
추가 정보
There are a few reasons that can cause performance issues when migrating content as render forms:
1.- Include many sub-form in the form.
2.- Huge data for embedded view in the form.
3.- Many attachments in the Notes docs (200+)
4.- Big attachment size or OLE object (>100M)
5.- Based on the SharePoint farm performance, performance can also be impacted if the number of items in the target SharePoint library is big (5000+).
Log file with 'verbose track' level should tell what part affects performance.
