Active Directory Users and Computers and how it can be used to look up attributes (4344676)

How can I verify if the user has been migrated or renamed properly and the attributes are populated?
Do I need to install MS Resource Kit and use ADSI Edit or is there another way to do this?

How can I see which objects are matched by DSA and which are not?
Is there a fast way to get a report about not matched objects?

How can I determine if the object is matched by DSA (Directory Synchronization Agent) and is participating in synchronization?

Is there a fast way to verify which objects in my organization were not processed by Migration Manager and are not matched at all?

The questions above and similar questions can be easily answered when using the Administrative Tool "Active Directory Users and Computers".

In "Active Directory Users and Computers" (ADUC) connect to the domain, highlight the domain (root) or any container in left side pane, right-click and select find and when a new Window opens select the "Advanced" tab.

Click on Field - User - and select eg. Custom Attribute 14.
Click on Condition and select eg. Not Present

If you click on "Find Now" and confirm the new window with "yes" you will receive a report. In our example, it will show you all objects which do not have the Custom Attribute 14 populated.
