The most common cause for new mailboxes not being imported automatically into Archive Manager is that the software is out of licenses. If you do not have any free licenses, Archive Manager cannot import mailboxes as a license is associated with a mailbox during the import process.
To check your licenses, open the Archive Manager console and go to Help -> License
If you are out of licenses, mailboxes will need to be deactivated or you will need to purchase additional licenses. If you have free licenses and are still having a problem with new mailboxes not being imported we recommend checking the settings for your groups. This can be done using the Address Book Manager from the Archive Manager console. After opening the Address Book Manager, open the groups tab on the left to see your list of groups.
All groups that show as a type of auto are groups that have been imported from Active Directory and if any show in an orange color it means the association with the group has been lost. If you have groups showing in orange, please check these groups in Active Directory. If the group has been moved to a new location it will need to be returned to the original location in Active Directory to resolve the problem. Alternatively, you could copy the settings being used for archiving for that group (from the console, ensure to note settings such as the number of days before archiving) and purge the group from this list. After the group is purged you can use the group wizard to import the group again from Active Directory. This will also automatically import all the users from the group.
