TSM Error "ANS1017E Session rejected: TCPIP connection failure" occurs when using TSM backup.
An attempt to connect to the server using TCP/IP communications failed. This can be a result of incorrect TCP/IP option settings in your client options file. This error can also occur if the LAN connection went down or if your system administrator canceled a backup operation.
1. Verify the TCPSERVERADDRESS and TCPPORT settings are correct in the client option file.
2. Retry the operation, or wait until the server comes back up and retry the operation. If the problem continues, see your system administrator for further help.
