FastLane NDS Migrator
When Migrating User Objects from NDS to Windows 2000 Active Directory, the Error Could not migrate user cn={UserName} (800708C5) is seen during the Migration and the Object Migration Log file.
This Error (800708C5) means: "The password does not meet the password policy requirements. Check the minimum password length, password complexity and password history requirements"
The suggested action is to Use the Password options in NDS Migrator (Default is "password" which causes the setting of attributes to fail) The suggested option would be to choose the option "A random value" for the Migration of User Objects.
Random passwords are saved in a CSV file called "RandomPWL_ddmmyyyy_hhmmss.csvddmmyyyy", where ddmmyyyy is the date and hhmmss is the time that the file is created. You can view this file by selecting View | Log Directory from the main window. This Random password is 14 characters long and complies with Microsoft's recommendation for complex passwords.
