Android app won't update (4380048)

When deploying app updates to Android device it takes too long for them to be updated.

One of the many benefits of KACE Cloud is updating apps automatically on managed devices, but in some cases, app updates may take longer than anticipated. According to Google's documentation, by default, apps will be automatically updated when the following conditions are met:

• The device is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
• The device is charging.
• The device is idle (not actively used).
• The app to be updated is not running in the foreground.

Note: Google Play checks for app updates once a day, so it can take up to 24 hours before an app update is added to the update queue. After an app is added to the queue, it will be automatically updated when the mentioned conditions are met. Besides, if a device has a passcode/pin code and is restarted, the device must be unlocked so it can execute tasks.
