You get an "Incorrect password" error when joining the existing InTrust organization during the upgrade even though you are entering the correct password in the following cases:
Case 1: While doing a fresh installation the installer is corrupted or aborted/canceled for some reason during the process and is re-launched. You can get this error because of old OpenSSL binaries.
Case 2: While upgrading the product from 11.4.x even after giving the correct password.
This issue comes up because of old OpenSSL binaries in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Quest\openSSL and Temp files that still exist as remnants in the server. Every time the installer checks for the extracted binaries from the latest installer, if old files are there at this path, then it cannot override that.
Step 1 - Remove everything from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Quest\
Step 2 - Clean the temp folder. - Run... > %temp%
Step 3 - Restart the machine.
Step 4 - Launch the installer again.
