Can one receive a real-time alert when the Agent Side Cache (also known as Agent-side backup) on a machine is not working correctly?
Some customers may wish to be informed when Agent cache is not working correctly or when there are errors.
We have two built-in Real-Time Rule for just this. These are called 'Agent-side backup failure' and 'Agent-side backup failure resolved'. These real-time rules use / match against the InTrust Server log for Event ID's 8323 and 8324 to see if there are issues with Agent Side Cache (also known as Agent-side backup). These rules are located under "Rules | InTrust Internal Events | Agent Management". The Real-Time policy that should be used is the "InTrust: Tracking Log Monitoring" which, by default, uses a site that contains all of your InTrust Servers.
