Error during upgrade or uninstall of GPOADmin

During an upgrade or uninstall of GPOADmin, one of following errors may appear:

"An error occurred while removing the Service Connection Point 'Quest.GPOADmin.Service'. Access is denied"

"An error occurred while removing the Service Connection Point 'Quest.GPOADmin.WatcherService'. Access is denied"

The account running the upgrade or uninstall does not have rights to remove/recreate the Service Connection Points in Active Directory. The upgrade should be run as the service account.

The service account requires rights to create and delete a Service Connection Point on computers where GPOADmin is installed. To grant these permissions, open ADSIedit.msc or DSA.msc and connect to the Active Directory domain. Navigate to the computer where GPOADmin will installed, the computer properties, and select the Security tab. Grant the service account the following permissions: Create serviceConnectionPoint objects and Delete serviceConnectionPoint objects for This object and all descendant objects.
