RESOLUTION 1 - Using the Agent Administration Panel (for SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle)
- Navigate to the Databases Dashboard
- Select one or more database agents
- Click Settings | Administration
- Click Database Connection Details in the menu
- Click the database instance name
- Update the password field
- Click the validate button
- If validation fails for any databases, click the database name and update the password field and then click the Validate button again
- Click the Save Changes button
RESOLUTION 2 - Update the Agent Status page (applicable for all types of database agents)
- Navigate to Administration | Agents | Agent Status
- Select one or more database agent
- Click the Edit Properties button
- Click the link to Modify the Properties of the Agent (if shown)
- Update the Password field
- (for DB2 agents only) Click the Edit button next to the Monitored Databases field
- (for DB2 agents only) Update the Password fields next to each database name
- Click the Save Changes button.
- Click the Save button
- Navigate to Administration | Agents | Agent Status
- Deactivate the database agent
- Activate the database agent
