Metalogix Archive Manager Antivirus Exceptions -

One or more of the following issues are encountered:- Cannot archive or restore
- There are slow responses in the console while manually archiving
- The handler service hangs and/or takes a long time to even restart
- Users cannot open archived messages or files
- Temp files are building up on the archive server

원인
Antivirus scans can interfere with operations of Metalogix Archive Manager due to how quickly the software creates and deletes temp files during normal operations. If antivirus is scanning these temp files when the software attempts to access or delete them it can cause unexpected behavior

해결 방안
Set an antivirus exception for the following locations:- C:\Program Files (x86)\Metalogix (or the directory where the software is installed if not at the default)
- C:\Users\<service account> (This is the default location for the SuperUser's profile, if it is located elsewhere please exclude that location instead)
- The HSM folder(s)
After antivirus exceptions are in place we recommend restarting all services for Metalogix Archive Manager or restarting the archive server
