Open the directory where the index is stored and copy the entire "Mail" (for Exchange Edition) and/or "File" (for Files Edition) directory to it's destination location. Note: The Search Index MUST be stored on local storage and should never be stored on a network path. Storing the search index on a network location is known to cause problems with searches.
Open Archive Manager Configuration, click on the Search > Indexing Engine tabs.
There will be sections for both Exchange and File archive indexing. Browse to their new locations in the appropriate field, assigning the "Mail" directory for Archive Manager Exchange Edition and the "File" directory for Archive Manager Files Edition. NOTE: These sections may or may not be available depending on which version is installed.
Click Apply.
Restart the MAMPostProcessing and MAM Search services.
After the files are moved and reconfigured, the files can be removed from their original location.
