First we recommend checking resources on the archive server and SQL server to determine if there are any bottlenecks. The most common performance problem with Metalogix Archive Manager is the SQL server not having enough memory to work with the databases efficiently.
If there are no problems with resources on the archive server or SQL server, the Exchange server may be throttling the connect for the SuperUser.
Create an Exchange Throttling Policy with the following settings (replace SUPERUSER with the name of your SuperUser account):
Exchange 2010
-----------------------
New-ThrottlingPolicy MAM4Exchange
Set-ThrottlingPolicy MAM4Exchange -RCAMaxConcurrency $null -RCAPercentTimeInAD $null -RCAPercentTimeInCAS $null -RCAPercentTimeInMailboxRPC $null
Set-Mailbox SUPERUSER -ThrottlingPolicy MAM4Exchange
Exchange 2013 / 2016 / 2019

Set-ThrottlingPolicy "MAM4Exchange" -EwsCutoffBalance Unlimited -EwsMaxBurst Unlimited -EwsMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EwsMaxSubscriptions Unlimited -EwsRechargeRate Unlimited -RcaMaxConcurrency Unlimited -RcaCutoffBalance Unlimited -RcaMaxBurst Unlimited -RcaRechargeRate Unlimited -CpaMaxConcurrency Unlimited -CpaCutoffBalance Unlimited -CpaMaxBurst Unlimited -CpaRechargeRate Unlimited
