Search option not enable during installation or upgrade
In order to enable the search tab on Archive Web a repair /install of Archive Manager Installation Package needs to be run:
1.Download the Metalogix Archive Manager for Exchange installer from the Quest Downloads site here: https://support.quest.com/metalogix-archive-manager-for-exchange/
Note: If the Metalogix install package has not been deleted from the Archive Server all the install files needed can be found in the C:\Metalogix folder on the server.
2. Run the MAMInstaller.exe file as administrator:
3. Click on the Installation option
4. Check all the components that are currently installed on the Server
5. When prompted choose the Archive Manager for Exchange Repair option from the wizard and click next
6. When prompted choose the Archive Web repair option from the wizard and click next
7. Make sure to choose Archive manager for Exchange edition at the following prompt
8. At the following screen make sure to select both Auditing and Full Text Search option from the wizard and click next
9. Once the Install repair maintenance is completed click finish
10. Once the process is completed, log back in to Archive web and check if the search tab is available
