• Password is incorrect for ArchiveMgr_Service
• ArchiveMgr_Service account does not have the correct permissions in Active Directory
• Archive Manager cannot contact a domain controller

1. Ensure that the Services running under ArchiveMgr_Service have the correct password entered
2. Ensure that the Application Pool that the ArchiveManager website is running has the correct password entered.
3. Ensure that the ArchiveMgr_Service account has the correct permissions in Active Directory as per Archive Manager Planning and Installation Guide, Archive Manager Rights and Permissions.
4. If an ADC Config file is in use, validate that the server(s) within the <server> tags is a live Domain Controller and can be pinged. If necessary, update the ADC Config file and restart the Archive Manager Active Directory Connector Service.
5. Run the following Query against the Archive Manager database:

SELECT * FROM logindomain

• Ensure the server in the LDAPServer column for each Active Directory domain is a live Domain Controller and can be pinged. Update if necessary.

If any changes have been made, restart all services running under ArchiveMgr_Service and restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service.
