Messages during copy job: "Error Enumerating the source" and "More data available"
Description

During a data migration, messages are observed in the Secure Copy summary screen and log file: "Error Enumerating the source" and "More data available"
Cause

This is typically a credentials problem with the account running Secure Copy.
Because of the nature of clustered and network attached file systems, some file attributes may not be available even to a Local Administrator.
Resolution

Secure Copy runs under the context of the logged on user using the Console, or as the alternate credentials provided in a scheduled task when running a scheduled Job. For full access to all files and folders the user must be a member of the local Administrators and Backup Operators groups on the Source. Members of the Administrators group are by default members of the Backup Operators group unless manually changed.
The messages are often benign and no error has actually occurred.
Use Windows Explorer to open the properties of both Source and Target paths and verify that all files/folders were copied.
