In regards to compatibility with software Profile Unity, does Kace agent interact with USERINIT registry key? -
Cause
Both Kace Agent and Software Profile Unity have registry value USERINIT.

Resolution
WARNING: It is highly recommended that you back up the registry of the device in question before performing registry edits.
In case of compatibility issues between Kace K1000 agent and Profile Unity software, set the registry to these values:
Laptops:
- Userinit = c:\windows\system32\kusrinit.exe
- Userinitreplaced = c:\program files\profileunity\userinit.exe
VMWare Virtual desktops
- Userinit = c:\windows\system32\kusrinit.exe, c:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Agent\bin\wssm.exe
- Userinitreplaced = c:\program files\profileunity\userinit.exe
