Reports Error with "The resource cannot be found" (4305866)

All other Archive Manager pages work.

When trying to view any of the reports the following error occurs:


server error in '/reports' Application

The resource cannot be found

Description: HTTP 404. the resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) has been removed, had its name changed or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that is its spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /Reports/StorageStats.aspx

SQL Reporting Services are installed on the same box as ArchiveManager. These use a virtual directory of /Reports and this is blocking access to the ArchiveManager Reports.

WORKAROUND 1:

1. Open SQL Reporting Services Configuration Manager software program and select the SQL Server to connect to.
2. Click Report Manager Virtual Directory URL from the left hand side.
3. Change the Virtual Directory name to a different directory so it doesn't conflict with ArchiveManager e.g. ReportsView and click on Apply.
4. Restart SQL Reporting Services Service.
5. Restart IIS by right clicking the CMD icon and select "Run as Administrator". Then type in "iisreset".

WORKAROUND 2:

If SQL Reporting Services are not required on the server they could simply be uninstalled:

1. Go to Control Panel | Programs and Features
2. Select SQL Server <VERSION> | Right click | Uninstall/Change
3. Proceed to select the removal of features and Remove the Reporting Services features
4. Restart IIS by right clicking the CMD icon and select "Run as Administrator". Then type in "iisreset".
