Installing Servicing Stack Updates (SSU) can ensure that an operating system is prepared to receive the latest cumulative updates. It is possible to receive incorrect detect results when the servicing stack is missing. KACE suggests that all servicing stack updates be deployed prior to detecting an operating system for missing cumulative updates.
Note: For more information, see Microsoft's information on Servicing Stack Updates.
Note: Consider installing Servicing Stack Updates (SSU) in a separate schedule prior to patch day.
