NOTE: Alternatively, it is also possible to run a Size Report for a more detailed report of space usage.
You may reduce the number of backup files kept on the system for backup and restore purposes by modifying configured Daily/Monthly retention for backups on Settings | Control Panel | Backup Settings and Restore.
“Offboard Backup Transfer Settings” can also be setup, so that retention of backups within the SMA is reduced to save up space, you may be able to retain backup files on an external location.

Manage Dell Catalog Updates under the SMA admin console Security | Dell Updates | Dell Update Download Settings.
The download schedule for Dell client and server update catalogs may be disabled if Dell updates are not distributed through the KACE SMA. In addition, Dell Update files as well as unused files may be deleted to save up space.
Review and delete unused or old versions of Software Distributions found on the SMA admin console Distribution | Managed Installations/File Synchronizations.
Keep in mind the file being distributed may be associated directly to the Managed Installation or may be associated to a Software Inventory item located under Inventory | Software, or to a Software Catalog item under Inventory | Software Catalog.
You may reduce log retention time as well to free up space.
Manage or delete patches using one of the following methods:
Check the Samba share for any unused or large files which can be moved or deleted: \\yourSMA_Hostname_or_IPaddress\clientdrop\
Review and delete unused or old versions of Scripts under the SMA admin console Scripting feature. Keep in mind scripts may be exported to the Samba clientdrop and moved for archival purposes.
Change Asset History Retention from ‘Forever’ to 1-6 months to clean up the Asset History Table.
This may also improve the SMA's inventory searching, and asset management.
Please contact KACE Support if you are unable to access the Web UI and free up space due to "File system full" error seen on the terminal console of your appliance.
