SNMP Full Walk using version v2c fails on Windows -
Description
The SNMP walk data is not available in the discovery results and inventory data when using SNMP version 'SNMPv2c' for some Microsoft Windows devices. The affected Windows devices are:
- Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022
- Windows 10/11

Cause
Windows does not currently submit enough information for the Agentless Inventory item to be created with SNMPv2c. When attempting to pull the information, the following error can be seen on the Agentless Log:[2022-03-31 14:50:55 -0500] 10.9.120.144 [warning] SnmpClient-> SNMP::walk(): Error in packet at 'IP-MIB::ipAddressTable': (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.

Resolution
As a work-around, select the SNMP version SNMPv1 to prevent this situation. Alternatively Agentless Inventory via WinRM will obtain more accurate, and reliable results. To setup WinRM, follow the guide here.
