How can multiple Diagnostic Console users share Server Connections and custom settings.
Configuring Shared Connections.

To Share Connection Information

1. Create a directory which you will use to share your connection information. This can be a shared network location or on a local drive and make sure everyone using the shared connections has permissions to access the folder.
2. Open the Spotlight on Messaging Diagnostic Console and on the View menu select Options | Spotlight Console
3. On the General Page under "Connection Information Location" click the ellipsis button and the Connection and Migration Wizard is displayed. Click Next.
4. Select "Use shared connection" and click Next
5. Browse to your directory created in step 1 then click Next, Next and then Finish.
6. Now Create the connections to your Exchange Servers.
7. Have any user that wants to use the shared connections repeat steps 2 to 5

Note: On Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 do not create the shared connection directory in the Program Files (x86) directory as these file could be virtualized and only available to the currently logged on user. If you have created the shared connection folder in the program files directory you can copy the contents to a new folder outside of the Program Files directory. You can find the virtualized files in the following location. "C:\Users\Logged on User\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)"

To share configuration changes between users you can configure templates.

1. First setup your shared connection.
2. Connect to an Exchange Server.
3. Make your changes, for example you can right click on your "System Memory" icon and select the Thresholds tab. Make the changes to what you consider a Low Medium and High Severity.
4. Once you have made all the changes click File | Save As Template
5. Use the Default Save location which will be the Templates subdirectory of the "Shared Connection" folder you created earlier.
6. Give the Template a Name and click Save.
7. Now any user using the Shared Connections will have access to the saved templates in the same location.
