Copy/Move Error: The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine (4272710)

When performing a Copy or Move action, the error message below is displayed upon clicking the OK button on the destination selection page:

The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine 

This is an environmental issue. Edit the ControlPoint web.config file on all servers with the following after </system.web>:

  <settings>
    <httpWebRequest useUnsafeHeaderParsing="true" />
  </settings>
  <defaultProxy>
    <proxy bypassonlocal="True" usesystemdefault="True"/>
  </defaultProxy>
