WebApp is not configured for ControlPoint (4272528)

"WebApp is not configured for ControlPoint. Grant Access Rights in Manage ControlPoint Licenses." message is appended to web applications listed on the SharePoint Hierarchy section of the ControlPoint application.

The issue may occur if the ControlPoint service account does not have the required permission especially in the following scenarios:

• A new web application is added to a farm
• A new content database is added to a web application
• The permissions of the ControlPoint service account has been changed or deleted from the web application's User Policy

To resolve the issue, perform the following:

1. Click Start > All Programs > Metalogix > ControlPoint > Manage ControlPoint Licenses.
2. Select the Added SharePoint Web Application or Content Database option.

   

3. Click Grant Access Rights.
4. Click Close.
