How to Determine the KACE SMA Script Number or ID (4272312)

A Script is an action that you can create in the appliance and deploy to your machines. It is valuable during troubleshooting to know what number/ID your script is.

The ID is the identifying number that will appear in kbots_cache files, kagent logs, localexecutation.dat and other resources when troubleshooting Scripts.

1. In the Web Interface, click on Scripting.
2. Find the script name in the list.
3. Right click on the script and choose Copy Link Location (or the equivalent for your browser.)
4. Paste the link into notepad.
5. The result will be similar to this:
   http://k1000/adminui/kbot.php?ID=21
6. The script number in this example is 21.

Alternatively, hover over the name of the script in the scripts list and the ID will show in the bottom left-hand corner of the webGUI: k1000_hostname_or_IP/adminui/kbot.php?ID=xx (where xx is the number/ID of the script).
