Errors on reports when using offloaded SSL certificates (4271888)

When ControlPoint uses an SSL address and the web application's SSL certificates are not stored directly on each web server, you may encounter SSL errors while running reports. Reports may also hang on "Processing" after clicking Run Now in the ControlPoint application.

ControlPoint needs to be manually configured to allow WCF services to be called from all bound host names.

1. Launch ControlPoint and click Manage > ControlPoint Configuration Settings.
2. Check the Include Advanced and Include Hidden Settings boxes, then click on the Create button.

   

3. Look for the Allow WCF Services To Be Called from All Bound Host Names parameter, check the box next to it and click Insert.

   

4. Click the Special-Purpose category, check the box next to Allow WCF Services To Be Called from All Bound Host Names, click Edit and set the value to True.

   

5. Recycle the ControlPoint application pool, then relaunch the ControlPoint application.
