How to use pass through authentication when the source and target are in different domains and there's no trust between domains. -
Cause

Resolution
Create an account that is a Local Admin on the source machine and set the password. On the target machine create a Local Admin account with the exact same name and password that was created on the source machine.
If there is a storage device (Netapp, NAS, SAN, etc.) involved in the copy job this account also needs to be in the local Backup Operators group.
Run the copy job(s) using this account.
