Secure Copy - Initializing UI Components or Unable to stamp the registry when opening Secure Copy
When attempting to open Secure Copy the splash screen hangs at "Initializing UI Components", and/or the message “Unable to stamp the registry” is displayed.

Cause
This is typically caused because UAC (User Account Control) is enabled.

Resolution
Resolution 1:
Right click the application and select “Run as Administrator”. If “Run as” is not seen, hold the “Shift” key when right clicking the application.
Resolution 2:
If allowed in your environment, via the Control Panel | User Accounts| Change User Account Control Settings, change the setting to “Never notify” and “OK”. This will require a reboot.
