Installer Error: "System.ObjectDisposedException: Cannot write to a closed TextWriter." (4266685)

An error similar to the following is logged during Installation of Archive Manager:

Error was: System.ObjectDisposedException: Cannot write to a closed TextWriter.
   at System.IO.__Error.WriterClosed()
   at System.IO.StreamWriter.Flush(Boolean flushStream, Boolean flushEncoder)
   at System.IO.StreamWriter.Flush()
   at AfterMail.Installer.RemoteInstallerService.FileLogger.LogMessage(String message, Boolean append)
   at AfterMail.Installer.RemoteInstallerService.InstallerRemotingService.DoLogMessage(String logSource, LogType logType, String message)
   at AfterMail.Installer.RemoteInstallerService.InstallerRemotingService.BaseUtilityLogHandler(String logSource, LogType logType, String message)
   at AfterMail.Installer.RemoteInstallerService.BaseUtility.DoLog(LogType logType, String message, Object[] param)

There are various causes:

1. MSIEXEC.exe process already running
2. Orphaned ESMWorker.exe, FTIAttachmentWorker.exe or Ifilter.Host process running.

RESOLUTION 1:

Cancel the installer, ensure all services are stopped and kill any of the follwowing processes that are still running using Task Manager, then re-run the installer:

• Installer.exe
• msiexec.exe
• ESMWorker.exe
• FTIAttachmentWorker.exe
• IfilterHost.exe

RESOLUTION 2:

Disable any Anti-Virus programs running on the servers specified in the Archive Manager installer and re-run the installer.
